Everything it takes to open a market. Nothing you do not need.

Three practices that stand on their own and work considerably better together, delivered by the same team from first assessment to handover.

Market entry, Spain & India

Market entry, Spain & India

We assess whether the market is worth entering, choose the mode that fits your balance sheet and your appetite, and then build the thing — entity, accounts, premises and people — to an agreed date.

  • Opportunity assessment and realistic market sizing
  • Entry mode: subsidiary, branch, joint venture or distributor
  • Incorporation, statutory registrations and banking
  • Registered address, company secretarial and payroll set-up
  • A costed first-year operating plan you can take to your board

Regulatory & compliance

Regulatory & compliance

The half of internationalisation that quietly decides the timeline. We hold the regulatory path on both sides of the corridor so your launch date survives contact with the paperwork.

  • Corporate, tax and labour registration in both jurisdictions
  • GST, VAT and transfer-pricing readiness
  • Sector licences, import codes and product certification
  • Contract review under local law, in the local language
  • Ongoing filings, statutory audit support and renewals
Sectors

Where our network is deepest.

We take work outside these sectors too — but in these we can usually name the right partner in the first meeting.

Questions

The ones we are asked first.

For a straightforward private limited company with foreign shareholding, six to ten weeks from the day we have your documents — incorporation, PAN and TAN, bank account and GST registration. Sector licences and import codes run alongside that and are what usually decide the real date, which is why they go into the entry plan before anything is filed.

Often not in the first year. A distributor or agency arrangement lets you test demand without committing capital or taking on statutory obligations, and we structure the agreement so that converting to your own entity later does not mean starting the relationship again. We will tell you which route we would take on the first call.

A fixed fee against a written scope, invoiced in agreed stages. No hourly billing, no success fee on the deals we introduce you to, and no retainer that quietly renews. Ongoing compliance work is a separate annual fee you can stop at any renewal.

Yes. The corridor is where our own team sits and where our knowledge is deepest, but roughly a fifth of our work now runs into Portugal, Morocco, the UAE and Mexico through the same partner network. If we cannot cover a market properly we say so rather than subcontract it quietly.

The partner you meet on the first call stays on the engagement, on both sides of the corridor. Work is not handed to a junior team after signature — that hand-off is the single most common complaint we hear about the firms our clients used before us.

A description of the product or service, the markets you are considering, and any certification you already hold. That is enough for the first call. Corporate documents are only needed once you have approved the plan.
